Technotill Wear & Maintenance Report, December 2021
Besides excellent emergence, one of the big advantages of the Technotill Seeding System is how little maintenance it requires. We recently received a detailed report with photos from our Partner Prototype Drill manufacturer, who has been running Technotill 2.0 on two different drills.

"The Technotill packer plate introduced by Walter and Betty Schoenhofer in 1996 has been re-developed with assistance from Saskatchewan farmers and a 3D printer.
TNT Version 2 will be available for spring seeding.
Where the original TNT had a fertilizer port on only one side, Version 2 is symmetrical with dual band ports."
Ag Quest Testing of Technotill 1.0 vs. 2.0, August 2016
In 2015, we began experimenting with improvements to the Technotill 1.0 model.
Pictured below, an August, 2016 comparison of soil disturbance by Technotill 1.0 and Technotill 2.0.
Ag-Quest (Sask), Inc was contracted by Technotill to run field tests using a plot seeder equipped with 3 TNT1.0 models and 3 TNT2.0 models.
Observations:
1. Seed placement and pack were the same for both models.
2. Fertilizer placement was improved with the TNT2.0 model.
3. There was no obvious difference in soil disturbance.
